Melodies for Abductees

On a tiny dusty planet, far out in the back garage of the galaxy, a small group of dedicated musicians formed to share a dream, a vision, and some mind-altering substances.

Their songs reflect the angst of growing up at the end of the Millennium where cynicism replaced hope, slacking replaced opportunity, and the Internet replaced sex.

These alien-human hybrids are the offspring of aliens and their abductees.  These teenage hybrids may have superkinetic powers of mind-reading and shape-shifting, but at heart they are like many other teenagers:  disaffected from their parents' separation, in search of their own identities, and , above all, cruising the galaxy for love.

Lyrics:

ALIEN LOVER

You stole my heart,
 and you rock my dreams.
 You tear me apart,
 then you cut my spleen.

In the middle of the night
 you visit my bed.
 You blast me with light
and stick a beeper in my head.

 You're my Alien Lover
 Like no other
 I could call my mother
But there ain't no cover from my Alien Lover.

 It's so unfair
 that you treat me unkind.
 I say I don't care,
but you just read my mind.

 You scoop my skin
 and you steal my seed.
 Will you love me again?
 It's you I need.

 You're my Alien Lover
 Like no other
 I could call my mother
But there ain't no cover from my Alien Lover.

My Alien Lover takes me for a ride
in an alien saucer with stirrups inside.

My Alien Lover has me hypnotized
with a love so strong and sterilized.

My Alien Lover gives me what I need
close encounters of the 3rd degree.

My Alien Lover tells me lies
then makes me a baby with big bug eyes.

 You scoop my skin
 and you steal my seed.
 Will you love me again?
 It's you I need.
You're my Alien Lover
Like no other
I could call my mother
But there ain't no cover from my Alien Lover.
